Club Kids Rule!

?

Australasia’s largest provider of pleasure craft insurance, Club Marine says its Club Kids Fun Photo Contest has captured the imaginations of Australian and New Zealand boaties, with well over 1000 entries received in the first six months of the contest.

Intended as a showcase of all that the nautical lifestyle has to offer for families and young children, the contest was launched in October last year and will run until September 1 this year. The theme of the contest is kids having fun on, in or around the water. Each week, a selection of entries makes it through to the Club Marine website, www.clubmarine.com.au, where they are displayed along with the nearly 350 photographs that now adorn the site.

Every two months, a winning photograph is chosen, with the prize being a Big W/Escape with ET ‘Essential Explorer’s Equipment’ prize pack, comprising camping and fishing equipment valued at $400. In addition, three runners-up receive Big W/Escape with ET ‘Tried and True Tackle Kits’ valued at over $200.

But all contestants are focused on the Grand Prize – a four-day trip for two to Andrew ‘ET’ Ettingshausen’s Escape Sportfishing and Wilderness Lodge on Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria, including flights, transfers, lodging and fully-guided fishing tours.

“We’ve really been overwhelmed by the fantastic response to the contest so far,” said Club Marine CEO, Greg Fisher. “What’s really great from our point of view is the fact that families are getting together on the water and sharing their good times with the world via our website.”

Club Marine’s Club Kids Fun Photo Contest closes on September 1, with the winner being announced in early October. For terms and conditions, go to: www.clubmarine.com.au.
