First up a quick congrats to NSW Sailor Annelise Gilbert for her efforts at winning the recent QLD Youth Champs, well done Annelise.
QLD Youth Week: July 2010:
Now on to future events. The QLD Youth Week is taking place at the RQYS in Brisbane during July. I have had lots of interest from Techno sailors looking to take part in this event and would encourage sailors to schedule it into the calendars for July.
At this early stage it’s looking like we will get at least 10 Techno’s at the regatta, lets maker it bigger and better than ever. Brisbane is a great place to escape the winter for a week.
There will be charter equipment available and there are very well priced accommodation options available so there is no excuse!!
We will also be having a Techno “Have-A-Go” day on the Friday before, with nice little 3m rigs for beginners, so spread the word to anyone you think may be interested, no windsurfing experience necessary!!!!
