I am on my membership drive again. When I sailed around Australia solo I sold memberships to my campaign. One lucky member won a trip for two for 2 nights to Hayman Island. I am back to it again and this time I have a huge prize for one lucky member. The money raise from the membership drive goes towards our programs to save our seas here in Australia. We are currently organising several events in the Whitsundays including being successful at getting our local council to put a bill forward to ban non-biodegradable bags. We want to move this campaign Australia-wide but need the funding to do this.
Membership to Save Our Seas Australia is a great way for individuals or families to support our cause. Visit our website www.saveourseasaustralia.com and join as a member. Individual membership is $100 and family membership is $250.
This time round each member will get a Save Our Seas Australia T-shirt with our Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Slogan on it as well as the the wording – Ban the Bag – Save our Seas. On the front will be the Save Our Seas Australia logo. For those who join before December 24th 2010 you will go into the draw to win a 3 night stay for 2 people at Paradise Bay Eco Lodge in the Whitsundays including free helicopter transfers to and from the island from either Hamilton Island or Airlie Beach Airport. Check out www.paradisebay.com.au for more on the island. The value of this trip is in excess of $4,000.
Cheers,
Ian Thomson
