Matt Belcher and Malcolm Page 2010 World 470 champions recently attended the Queensland Youth Championships and Yachting Queensland’s state training camp at Keppel Bay Yeppoon in North Queensland on the 21st to the 26th of September
The event was a huge success even with the torrential rain that plagued North Queensland for the week .
Matt and Malcolm had all the young sailors and parents on the edge of their seats for 2 hours as they relived everything from Malcolm winning a gold medal in China 2008 to the recent win in the 2010 470 world championships.
The other Guest for the week was legendary Olympic Yachting Coach Mike Fletcher who worked with all the Young sailors for the Camp .
A Big Thank you to all involved for making the camp happen and a huge success
