The Queensland Sports CONNECT Team would like to welcome back all our readers and welcome aboard those of you who may be new to our network as we hit the ground running in 2011.  The DE News will help to keep you in touch with the progress of the Sports CONNECT framework in Queensland as well as highlighting successful initiatives across the state.  Through our newsletter you can connect to people in your own industry as well as identifying key stakeholders in other sectors.

Please feel free to pass the DE News on to other people in your networks who would benefit from this information.  Alternatively, you can provide us with their contact details and we will add them to our database.

In the January/February 2011 edition you will find the following articles:

- More regional communities to work towards inclusion

- Sports CONNECTING – what does it really mean for disability service providers and what are the steps?…

- Additional Queensland sports to benefit from Sports CONNECT…

Disability Education News – January – February 2011

A special thank you goes to the Australian Sports Commission and the Queensland Government Department of Communities (Sport and Recreation Services) for their support through their staff and funding programs and their belief in what we are doing to build capacity for inclusion in sport and active recreation for people with disabilities in Queensland.

Kind regards,

The Queensland Sports CONNECT Team.
