Ranked as the number one most popular social networking site, Facebook is accessable for free from nearly every country on Earth. With over “500 million active users” and with the average person spending “700 billion minutes per month on facebook”, it was no obvious choice that Yachting Queensland and the Queensland Sailing Team would go ‘ Facebook’.
Any person can now see updates, photos, videos of the organisation and team. More than 30 billion pieces of content (web links, news stories, blog posts, notes, photo albums, etc.) are shared each month, and Facebook is the perfect place for the Queensland Sailing Team to gain exposure and international recognition.
