The Exemplar Coaches and Limousines Clipper Cup Regatta is an open class, single division, six race series regatta staged over two weekends of Port Douglas Carnivale, ‘to race the winds of paradise’.
The event is open to all monohull and multihull yachts that comply with the eligibility and safety requirements in the Notice of Race.
With an $8,000 prize pool consisting of 10 individual cash prizes plus individual race trophies for 1st 2nd and 3rd in each race this is the flagship event of Port Douglas Yacht Club.
Day sailors, cruisers, trailer sailers and sports boats are all catered for, all with a chance at staking their claim for the prestigious Clipper Cup.
Performance based handicaps are allocated to each competitor to create a level of competition that rewards the best performing crew on the day. This regatta is the best fun in the tropical sun.
