The Queensland Trailable Yacht Championship has always been a regatta enjoyed by all competitors. Sailed in pristine conditions off Queensland’s coast, a wide variety of sailors travel to compete and enjoy the racing.
This year the fleet will race on Keppel Bay from Saturday the 11th to Sunday the 12th June 2011. The on shore location will be the Capricornia Cruising Yacht Club at Rosslyn Bay, Yeppoon.
The Capricornia Cruising Yacht Club was established in 1974 by a group of sailors whose passion was sailing, and home was the beautiful Capricorn Coast. The Club House is situated at Rosslyn Bay, Yeppoon, just a short walk from the Keppel Bay Marina.
In this multiple design fleet, all yachts must comply with the current Australian Trailable Yacht and Sports Boat Rule if applicable, or for boats entered in the SMS Sports Boat Division, the Australian Sport Boat Association rules and constitution will apply.
